Today is the FINAL day to register for the 3rd annual Julian vs. Miranda challenge! If you have been on any social media in the last week, you undoubtedly have seen the excitement (and a few shenanigans) among the Gallos and Palomas already. This year is the tie-breaker year to determine if Team Julian or Team Miranda are crowned champions and winners of a years worth of bragging rights and the coveted Golden Peacock Champions Tee. We want YOU to be part of it and not hanging out on #teamfomo for the month of August!
All the details on this 4-week challenge is on the Members Only website along with the link to register. It's simple, it's motivating and it's a whole lotta fun being on a team with a few thousand others of your SP Community! And don't forget... if you already know if you are a Gallo or a Paloma, there are still TEAM SHIRTS available!
New to SP or this challenge?
Your team assignments come AFTER registration. You don't choose, fate does.
Is it a nutrition challenge? No. There will be daily points for healthy habits like getting your workouts done, drinking water, eating veggies, limiting your alcohol, etc. But you do NOT need a Street Parking Nutrition Template for this challenge.
Does your performance/workout scores count for points? HECK NO. Just like with everything else Street Parking, CONSISTENCY is what matters. And this team challenge is about showing up for yourself AND your team.

Coach Alex and Coach Jeb are going LIVE this Saturday, August 1 at 10am PST - on BOTH @streetparkingmembers Instagram and the SP Members Facebook Group! They’ll be addressing the common issues of the most regularly programmed movements in Street Parking workouts and answering any specific questions you have!
You can also submit video of you performing the movement you want covered during the Live. We will NOT broadcast the videos unless given express permission! Consider these for our eyes only! You can submit by sending a DM to Alex or Jeb on IG (@jebstone & @alexandrarobintrahan) or messaging them on the Street Parking Members Facebook group. Please mention "SP Coaching Live" in the message - and since we will need time to review before the Live, be sure to get them in TODAY!
If you choose to submit a video - please be sure that your whole body is in frame throughout the entirety of the movement (feet included). Shoot the video from a 45-degree front angle or shoot two videos - one from the front and one from the side. Don’t be afraid to turn your phone sideways if you’re unable to get everything in the frame up and down.

What is the role of a Street Parking Coach?
Coaches are another excellent SP resource. They can answer questions about movements, modifications and specific workouts. If you are a newer member this year, when you joined you would have been assigned an SP Coach who reached out to via email (sometimes these emails get filtered, so be sure to always check your promotions folder too!) to make sure you have what you need with your SP experience.

How can they help? If you post videos in the Facebook group using #spcoaching they can give you feedback. And if you need a little extra push they are there to support you or point you toward a team member that can help, like our support team, our nutrition coaches, or our pregnant/postpartum coach and resources.
We've added TOPIC TAGS in the SP Members Facebook group! Use the "COACHING TIPS" topic as the filter to see all the daily video tips for upcoming workouts and cues on movements from Coaches Alex and Jeb.
We also encourage all members to follow our coaches on Instagram, as this is a great way to get daily warm up tips, workout tips and all around encouragement as they incorporate the SP lifestyle in their workouts, nutrition, recovery, mindset and more during their busy days, just like you.

NEW: THE 4th TRIMESTER POSTPARTUM BUNDLE
The Street Parking 4th Trimester Postpartum Bundle is now available in the SP SHOP! There are two bundle options - one for current SP members and one for non-members, which includes an option of 3 month membership to Street Parking! Both options provide access to the Fourth Trimester programs and resources, support from SP Mamas Coach Carolina, the private Facebook SP Mamas Pregnant/Postpartum group, and all access to the entire SP program with additional resources such as Mama focused Maintenance, Mama Movement Modifications with daily workouts and educational movement libraries.
What is it?
Step 1 - RECOVERY: 4 weeks of simple, gentle, and safe programming for the initial postpartum period, including healing and restorative exercises and practices for the mind, body and soul. This is a great opportunity to practice self care during what can be a very vulnerable time.
Step 2 - REHAB: 4 weeks of specific programming to lay a sturdy foundation for muscles, joints, mechanics and nervous system. The goal is preparing the postpartum mama to take on the movements coming in the SP Shift programming or the next phase of exercise, while providing tools and habits to incorporate into long term fitness routine.
Step 3 - REBUILD: After at least 8 dedicated weeks to recovery and rehab, and doctor clearance to exercise: It’s time to rebuild. This ebook provides a detailed and holistic roadmap toward tackling Street Parking SHIFT programming and then moving on to Program A/B/C, while also covering important topics like postpartum workout mentality, pelvic floor health, nutrition, stress and hormones.
