The month of June is a time to celebrate pride and equality, which is why we brought back the beloved Street Parking Equality Tee & Tank in updated colors yet with the same simple message. If you're part of any Street Parking social media group, you probably have seen the pics from members who have recently completed the Jacked By June Challenge, with stories of improved consistency, habits, nutrition and more NSVs (non scale victories) than we can count!

But ANY time of year, you'll also see members who don't just compare 4 week side-by-sides --- you'll see and hear transformation stories that come from members who talk about the difference Street Parking Nutrition and workouts have made in their lives LONG TERM!
So let's talk Street Parking Nutrition, resources, and an exciting new opportunity we have to support YOU in the months ahead! 

FIRST: WHAT WE BELIEVE WHEN IT COMES TO NUTRITION

Nutrition doesn't have to be complicated. Our beliefs about the way we eat mirrors what we believe about how we train. Consistency is everything. Each of us needs to find something that works for us but that something needs to be sustainable. We don't believe in fad diets, cuts, macronutrient elimination diets, or any sort of eating schedule that you won't be able to follow for the rest of your life. Diets like those become popular because they are severe and can yield drastic, but often UNSUSTAINABLE results. That's NOT what we are about.

READY, SET... SLOW DOWN. WAIT, WHAT?

We see it all the time: people get really excited when they are ready to make a change, and they tend to want to make a lot of big changes all at once. This can become very overwhelming and there is a high likelihood that they will give up because they are trying to learn and maintain too many different things at once. Or they want the process to just be faster.

What we like to do is gradually implement changes until it becomes a habit, and then add more to our plate (sometimes literally) from there.

Start here with the "Street Parking Nutrition: UNLOCKED" newsletter where you can find out what we believe, why we care about SUSTAINABLE nutrition choices along with detailed guidance on how to start gradually implementing better quality food choices. You can even learn about things like the Palm Method measuring or simplified macronutrients, and detailed information on how the Street Parking Nutrition Templates work.

NUTRITION SMALL GROUP COACHING

Small Group Coaching is a 6-week program where our Nutrition Coaches will help Street Parking members to integrate into the template life with support to help you find sustainable success in a small, focused group setting. The groups are limited to 75 people per group. You must be an active Street Parking Member to participate! 

Please note: with such limited spaces the group WILL fill up quickly, so if you miss the sign up for the first group please join the WAITLIST for first access to registration for our next groups! 

Through the 6-week program you will learn:

  • How to balance your plate and the importance of each of the 3 macronutrients (protein, carbohydrate and fat).

  • How to follow a structured approach for gradually going from your current way of eating to following the template.

  • How to maneuver through special situations: weekends, vacations and traveling for work.

  • The mindset for success when it comes to nutrition to help improve the chances of this being a long-term, lasting change.

The important thing to know is this is NOT a 6 week nutrition challenge! 

Who is this support group for? This group is for someone that bought a template and was too overwhelmed to start because of so many changes at once. This would also be for someone that has been wanting to try the templates, but perhaps too intimidated or uncertain to start. 

Who is this support group NOT for? The support group is not for someone that has been following the templates for a long time and has no issues weighing and measuring their foods.


SP SUMMER CAMP 2020...UPDATED

This was SUPPOSED to be the week of Street Parking Summer Camp 2020, and believe me, we are SO bummed that we won't all be together in New York this weekend. BUT that doesn't mean we can't all still have some fun challenges, get silly, get outside, do some online meetups together, and even win some prizes with "at home" Summer Camp fun we've got planned for EVERYONE!

So load up the sandbag, brush up on your SP trivia, practice your dance moves, and take a shower while you still can... wait, nevermind that last part. It's going to be a good time, with or without massive jello pools this year.

SUNDAY, MAY 24th - For anyone interested in doing the "MURPH" workout over Memorial Day weekend, it is programmed on Sunday, May 24th since Monday, May 25th is the Vault workout! Just like with all SP workouts, there are modifications, subs and scales listed in the workout description on Members Only and Wodify. Please READ the full workout description before jumping in!
